West Lake Willows has one of the nicest locations in the county for a seasonal trailer site. We have over 700 ft of shoreline on West Lake overlooking the Sand Dunes in the Sandbanks Provincial Park. In the evening you'll find many of our seasonal people down at our waterfront enjoying the sun sinking into the west behind the Dunes. Most of our seasonals are families or early retirees. Our park has a nice mix of mature trees and sunlight. All sites are fully serviced. Some of our seasonals like to use our showers and washrooms (no charge!). They also have the option of purchasing docking space for their boats for the summer. As of the spring 2006 season wireless high speed Internet is available to all seasonal sites at an additional charge.
The biggest advantage that the Willows has over so many other trailer parks is our proximity to the 3 main beaches in the Provincial Park (see map). We are a nine minute walk from the Dunes beach, with all the mountains of sand (some are over 6 stories high!). The Dunes are actually 5 miles long, making it the largest freshwater sand bar in the world. The Outlet beach and the Sandbanks beach are both on the Lake Ontario side, only 2 kilometers away. These beaches are often compared to those found in Florida.
Our seasonal campers also have an active recreational committee. Some examples of our traditional summer events are:
- Corn roast
- 50/50 draws
- Fishing derby
- Halloween in August
West Lake Willows is a trailer park where our people are important to us. Generations of families return year after year. Give us a call, we would love to show you around! |
